Hair Loss & Scalp Analysis in Pell City, AL
A closer look at visible changes in your hair starts with careful observation.
If you are noticing shedding, breakage, thinning, scalp changes, or a difference in density, I offer a thoughtful place to begin.
Your session combines conversation, magnified imaging, and cosmetic hair and scalp analysis. I can observe and document visible features, explain what I see, and recommend appropriate cosmetic hair and scalp care. I do not diagnose or treat medical conditions and will recommend medical evaluation when a concern falls outside cosmetology scope.
Hair Loss & Scalp Analysis
Your consultation is a chance to slow down and look at the bigger picture.
I combine magnified scalp imaging with a conversation about your hair history, current routine, products, styling habits, and the changes you've been noticing.
Depending on your concerns, I may look at things such as:
Scalp condition
Visible dryness, oil, flaking, irritation, or buildup.
Hair + density
Visible changes in density, shedding patterns, or areas you're concerned about.
Breakage
Because hair breaking and hair shedding from the root aren't the same thing.
Your routine
Products, washing habits, styling, chemical services, heat, and other factors that may be worth considering.
Sometimes the smallest details help us figure out what questions we should be asking next.
What You Leave With
The goal isn't to overwhelm you with products.
It's to give you a clearer direction.
Following your consultation, I provide personalized cosmetic hair and scalp recommendations based on what was observed and discussed during your appointment.
That may include adjustments to your routine, product recommendations, styling considerations, supportive scalp-care practices, or guidance about what your next step should be.
Because sometimes you need a new product.
And sometimes you absolutely do not need another bottle under your bathroom sink.
When It's Time to See a Doctor
I am a cosmetologist and certified Hair Loss Specialist, not a dermatologist or physician.
Scalp consultations are cosmetic and educational. They are not used to diagnose or treat medical conditions.
If something I observe falls outside the salon's scope or suggests that medical evaluation may be appropriate, I'll tell you.
No pretending to know something I don't.
No trying to sell you a product instead.
Sometimes the best recommendation I can give you is to see someone with a different set of expertise.
And that's part of taking good care of people.
